This 18-wheeler lives up to its Big Rig Lumber Hauler name. It's 6 inches wide, 9 1/2 inches tall, 33 inches long and weighs in at almost 25 pounds.

It's made mostly of cherry, but also walnut and maple. Most importantly, it's made to play with! It can take a beating. It's rugged -- kids can sit on it. My 20-year-old prototype has survived one son and several grandchildren.

The tractor measures 6" x 9 1/2" x 15 1/2". The trailer measures 6" x 9 1/2" x 21 1/2". Both roll easily on most any terrain, thanks to 3/4" x 2 1/2" grooved maple wheels.

The cargo: 40 3/4" x 3/4" x 10" ash lumber and 26 3/4" x 3/4" x 20" ash lumber. The 10 stakes that hold the cargo are easily removable (kids love to take it apart and put it back together).
